- When you purchase a Wordpress hosting package, witchcraft happens and Wordpress is automatically installed and configured for you. (You set the username and password at checkout).
- You don't have access to the source files on a Wordpress hosting package.
- Only 1 MySQL Database is allowed on a Wordpress hosting package.
- Designed as a fast solution for those less technical.
Web Hosting:
- Nothing is automatically installed for you (though you do have access to a whole host of 1-click install apps!)
- You get full access to the website files.
- You can add more MySQL databases (limits depending on which package you choose).
- Preferred by those with a little web development know-how.
